Mike F

Mike is from Reading MA and has lived in Andover since 1999. In 1997 Mike earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In 2003 Mike earned an Associates degree in Paramedic Emergency Medicine from New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord. Since 2003 Mike was a full time Paramedic/first responder with the majority of his time spent working in the Merrimack Valley. In April of 2021 after 22 years in EMS Mike decided it was time for a positive change and pursued his long standing desire to work with dogs. Mike is excited to be working with you and your dog.

Mike lives with his wife Sarah of 20 years and their daughter who is in the fourth grade. In 2009 Mike and and Sarah rescued their dog Reeses through the Sterling animal shelter. They had just over 9 wonderful years with Reeses before he passed from a brief illness but Reeses is remembered daily for his great personality and energy.

In his free time Mike and family enjoy going to Crane Beach in Ipswich, bike riding, exploring the many A.V.I.S trails around Andover, and capping off a summer day with a visit to Mad Maggie’s Ice Cream. A few summers ago they discovered Prince Edward Island in Canada and have been hooked on its natural beauty ever since.
