Kate retired from her full-time job at the end of July 2021. For over 35 years, she worked in Customer Service and Inside Sales for various industries which included medical, insurance, pet products and metals. Her favorite job was selling pet products to small independent pet shops.
Kate grew up with 5 brothers, and over the years has been a pet parent to many types of animals: dogs, cats, parakeets, turtles, ducks, fish, and chameleons. She considers herself a lover of all animals, so she jumped at the opportunity to work as a dog walker for BlueDog. What could be better than spending your day outside in the fresh air, walking and playing with dogs?
Kate has been married to her husband Jack for 34 years. Together, they have adopted and spoiled 10 cats (had 5 at one time). Currently they are the proud parents of 1 cat: Edgar, a 13-year-old domestic short hair.
Kate enjoys cooking, having family and friends over for dinner, walking, hiking, biking, mountain climbing, and snowshoeing.
