Hi! I’m Thayna, a life long animal lover from North Andover! I knew from a very young age that I wanted to spend my life working with animals in any way, shape, or form. And because of that, I decided to pursue a B.S. in Animal Science, specializing in animal behavior.
I recently graduated from the University of California Davis and during my time there, I worked with all types of animals, which include dogs, cats, pigs (I actually got to do positive reinforcement training with them using marshmallows), cows, and even dolphins! The first thing I did post-grad was becoming an intern at the New England aquarium, where I got to closely work with the seal and sea lion trainers there. After the internship, I plan to be a volunteer at the aquarium!
Working at Bluedog as a dog walker and a class assistant is the next step of my animal care journey. And as someone with three dogs at home (Jessie, Mel, and Angel), I promise to love and care for your dogs as much as my own!
