Our Friendly Classroom Clown
Fern is our nearly five-year-old Golden Retriever and the designated “fun ambassador” of our puppy socialization team. As one of the demo dogs for Chris’s classes, Fern has spent much of her time at BlueDog as one of our four legged class assistants.
Fern has lots of playful energy and has worked hard on her own confidence and knows exactly how to bring the play down to a puppy’s level once they both get to know each other. She’s like the playful class clown who loves attention, especially from people. She knows when to appropriately signal a puppy to tone things down if they get a bit too rowdy, her balance of playful spirit and healthy boundaries make her a great part of the socialization team and often the 3rd dog our puppies get to meet.
She is Sunday’s best friend and often together they encourage puppies to join in the fun. Her play style brings the action down to the puppies level and loves when they get to roll together on the ground.
