Meet Jess!
Jess left an 8-year marketing career to pursue her passion for dogs full-time, and now runs a pet care and training business in Chelmsford and Westford.
She shares her home with two Shelties, Jax (5) and June (3). Jax is an athletic, driven agility partner competing at the Masters level with titles across AKC, USDAA, UKI, and CPE — currently working toward his USDAA ADCH. June has strong herding instincts and big feelings about fast-moving things, and it was actually June who led Jess to BlueDog! Control Unleashed classes with Nicole made a huge difference in helping June build focus and calm around everyday triggers, and June still shines in the ring — including being a top competitor with high placements at CPE Speedway Nationals in MA in 2025 and earned a trophy.
Jess is an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator and completed the 6-month, tested Pro-Trainer program at Pack of Paws in Charlton, MA to gain a strong foundation in dog training. She currently works with private in-home clients on puppy and basic obedience training, and is excited to bring her love for training into a group class setting alongside BlueDog’s team.
Outside of training, Jess loves helping owners do more with their dogs — tricks, fitness, sports — and can often be found hiking, rock climbing, or paddle boarding.
